Wonderful Family Getaway
We had a delightful 2-night stay with our kids. The family room was spotless and spacious. Breakfast was a rich buffet with plenty of options. The staff, especially Sam and Ang, made us feel at home. A quieter atmosphere makes this ideal for families seeking relaxation.

We had a blast staying here! Close to the beach and not far from the Pleasure Beach and the pier. The staff were super friendly, especially Gary, who made our arrival fun. Breakfast was good and there’s a pool table for some evening fun. Definitely a revisit in our plans!
The only downside was the parking fee of £10.

great location but some noise at night
The location is perfect for exploring attractions as it sits between two major spots and the quick tram access is a bonus. The staff excel in hospitality providing exceptional service making our family feel welcome.
We encountered some noise during the night making it hard to sleep at times.

missingWrote a review on Sept 04family roombar areadecent spacedirty bathroom
Comfortable family rooms with a decent amount of space for four. The bar area offers a versatile setting, but it closes early, limiting late-night options.
Room cleanliness left much to be desired, with dirty carpets and unsettling bathroom maintenance. The bathroom had unpleasant mold and hair remnants, impacting overall comfort. Noise from neighboring rooms could be bothersome, reducing the expected tranquility of the stay. The doors, especially in the bathrooms, felt weak and didn’t close properly, which was quite off-putting. Parking was an issue, as advertised space was seemingly unavailable, forcing us to hunt for street parking. While the breakfast timing served its purpose, it could be a challenge for late risers.

I enjoyed my stay at South Beach. The owners were incredibly welcoming. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the promenade. My room was tidy, with fresh bedding and a cozy bed that made me sleep well. The breakfast was delightful, with fresh options available. But, I faced a minor issue with room temperature. it felt a bit cold despite the sunny weather. A portable heater would have helped. I noticed the breakfast could use more vegetarian options, as they only offered beans on toast without any sausage varieties. I would definitely go back despite these small issues.

We had a lovely stay with our five kids! The location was perfect, right on the promenade, making it easy for us to enjoy the beach and local attractions. The kids loved the arcade machines and pool table, and the family room was spacious enough for all of us.
In my wife’s opinion, the shower could definitely use an update. Having more varied breakfast options would be great for families with children.

A warm welcome from the owners set the tone for a pleasant stay. The room was cozy with clean bedding and a hot shower, making it a perfect retreat after a day out. Breakfast was sufficient with options including toast and fruit. limited breakfast choices and a somewhat cramped dining area detracted slightly from the experience.
